Lumina's Heart Classical, Celtic and Pop
Background Lynne Reardon

The harp has been known for centuries to create magical sounds that can evoke joy, tranquility, sadness, or anything in between. It is one of the oldest known instruments with a long history of pleasing royalty and being employed in sound healing. Lynne is a classically trained harpist who performs on folk, pedal, and electric harps, enjoying many genres including Celtic, classical, new age, folk, and pop. She performed and toured with the bands Electric Angel, Lumina, and Hearthfire, and has two albums. Performances in Northern California included many San Francisco Bay Area venues and festivals including Scottish Highland Games, weddings, and various Humboldt County shows including The Fortuna Concert Series, Mateel Community Center, and Morris Graves Museum of Art.

Lumina’s Heart adds expressive vocals to traditional and cover tunes plus original compositions, creating a folk-pop flavor. The goal in every performance is to give the listeners an experience that is uplifting and empowering.

Please follow the link to hear samples from the album Lumina's Heart. The Dream album was created with the electric harp trio Electric Angel which toured the Pacific Northwest. The Breton dance tune Twyngryllyg (listen) which Lynne co-wrote, is on the album Celtic Harp Magic by Harpers Hall.
